Hilltown Community Health Centers of Worthington has received a $60,000, three-year grant from United Way of Hampshire County to fund its Hilltown Collaborative for Children and Families over three years. The Hilltown Collaborative for Children and Families provides children and families with coordinated and comprehensive family support services. The program expects to serve 275 individuals in its first year of funding.
The program, housed at HCHC’s Hilltown Family Center in Huntington, is a collaboration with It Takes A Village, a nonprofit located in Cummington. It Takes A Village is a grassroots organization that provides weekly home visits from a volunteer to help with baby care, cleaning and running errands.
